Over one year after we last checked in, vertical construction is complete at 5750 Hollywood Boulevard, where exterior finishes are now taking shape at Alta Ink, a new mixed-use apartment complex from Atlanta-based developer Wood Partners.
The project, located just east of the US-101 Freeway, is a seven-story edifice that will feature 161 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments atop 5,700 square feet of ground-floor retail space and parking for 271 vehicles. Plans also call for 14 subsidized affordable units, as well as a series of two-story shopkeeper units in which residents can live above ground-floor businesses.
Additionally, the project will include private resident amenities including a rooftop deck, multiple courtyards, and a gym.
Carrier Johnson + CULTURE is designing 5750 Hollywood, which is clad in materials including stucco, metal panels, and ceramic tile. The Hollywood Boulevard-facing facade is arranged to evoke the image of a projector lighting a dark movie theater.
A leasing website for Alta Ink advertises availabilities starting in August. Rents for the property range from $1,925 to $4,020 per month.
This is the second mixed-use development in the Hollywood area for Atlanta-based Wood Partners, following the neighboring 5550 Apartments at Hollywood/Western Station.
