Just east of the intersection of Crenshaw and West Adams Boulevards, three developments featuring affordable and supportive housing for seniors and unhoused persons are starting to take form.

Adams Terrace, a project from local non-profit developer Abode Communities, is divided between two buildings located at 4314 and 4347 W. Adams Boulevard. The projects, which are rising on city-owned land, will create a total of 86 studio and one-bedroom apartments - reserved for low-income and homeless seniors - and parking for 51 vehicles.
The apartments, which are financed in part through $33.7 million in multifamily conduit revenue bonds, will be reserved for seniors earning at or below 50 percent of the area median income. The total cost of the development is estimated at $60 million.
Abode Communities is also the architect for both of the four-story buildings, which will include central courtyards and rooftop amenity decks, among other residential amenities.

A short walk south from Adams Boulevard on Montclair Street, the five-story frame of the PATH Villas Montclair is now complete.
The $41-million development, which is being built by PATH Ventures, is rising from another formerly empty site at 4220 Montclair Street. The low-rise structure will contain a total of 46 apartments above ground-level parking for 14 vehicles.
Per a staff report to the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee, the PATH Villas will consist entirely of studio apartments priced for households earning at or below 35, 45, 50, and 60 percent of the area median income. Rents will range from $509 to $763 per month.

Gonzalez Goodale Architects is the development, which will also include case management services, a community room, a garden, and amenity decks at the second and fifth floors.
