In Irvine's Great Park neighborhood, construction is underway on a 1.1-million-square-foot office complex that will soon become the corporate headquarters of the semiconductor company Broadcom.
An aerial image captured by architectural photographer Hunter Kerhart show progress on the sprawling 70-acre campus, which will feature five buildings designed by the architecture firm Gensler.
An architectural rendering of the finished product portrays an elevated green space at the heart of the campus.
The Broadcom development, which is expected to open in either late 2017 or early 2018, has an option to expand up to 2-million square feet.
