Atlanta-based homebuilder Pulte Group is in the midst of construction at a new townhouse project in Inglewood.

The project - which is split into two different neighborhoods called Parallel and Icon - will consist of 105 townhomes and detached single-family residences offering three- and four-bedroom floor plans.  Sales prices are expected to start in the mid $800,000s.

In addition to housing, Pulte Homes will include common features through the project, including a clubhouse and amenity center, a swimming pool and spa, bocce ball courts, tot lot playgrounds, and walking paths.

Parallel and Icon will rise on part of an 18-acre site that was once home to the Daniel Freeman Hospital.  The sprawling property, located midway between the Crenshaw/LAX Line and the under construction SoFi Stadium, has been entitled for the construction of more than 200 single-family dwellings by Harridge Development.

Pulte purchased their segment of the property for a reported sum of $42 million, followed by KB Home, which bought 55 lots from Harridge in September 2019 for $23 million.  Harridge - which purchaesd the former hospital site for $36.3 million - still owns 66 lots, according to The Real Deal.
