A small apartment building in the unincorporated community of East Pasadena could be razed for a new condominium complex, according to an application approved in September by the Los Angeles County Regional Planning Commission.

The project site, located at 3723 Huntington Drive, is currently improved with seven rental units.  Los Angeles County Assessor Records indicate that the property was developed in the 1920s.

The proposed development, which was heard at a September 30 meeting of the commission, calls for replacing the existing two-story structure with three buildings containing 11 condominium units atop a 33-car subterranean parking garage.

Space Light Structure Design is listed as the project's architect, which is depicted in an elevation plan as a series of three-story structures.

The owner and developer of the property is Huntington East Pasadena, LLC, a Duarte-based entity managed by Shau-An Chen.
