Just north of the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue in Winsor Square, construction is underway for a new development of townhomes.
The project, located at 610-618 S. Van Ness Avenue, consists of 12 single-family residences - one of which will be set aside for very low-income households over a period of 55 years.
Electric Bowery is designing the townhomes, all of which will stand four stories in height. Architectural plans show that each unit will include a two-car garage and a roof terrace.
City records indicate that the project is being developed by a Chicago-based entity Van Ness Partners I, LLC.
One block east at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevevard and Wilton Place, construction is now underway for a seven-story, 288-unit apartment complex.
