More than a year after breaking ground in Westminster's Little Saigon neighborhood, wood framing is rising high above street level at the mixed-use Bolsa Row development.
Located on a six-acre site at the intersection of Bolsa Avenue and Brookhurst Street, the complex will include a 225,000-square-foot apartment complex, a Wyndham hotel, retail, and parking in a series of low-rise structures.
Furthest along in construction is the apartment building, a five-story edifice that will contain 200 studio, one-, and two-bedroom dwellings in addition to amenities and 37,500 square feet of attached retail space.
Next-door, the planned Wyndham hotel will consist of another five-story edifice containing 148 guest rooms, a 48,000-square-foot banquet facility, food and beverage venues, and amenities. Parking for 700 vehicles will be located in a subterranean garage beneath the building.
Bolsa Row's design and engineering team includes KTGY Architecture + Planning, interior designer Cole Martinez Curtis, VCA Structural Engineering, and MJS Landscape Architecture. The look of the development is inspired by French colonial architecture, and will incorporate a replica of Vietnam's Bến Thành Market clock tower.
At the time of groundbreaking in March 2020, general contractor R.D. Olson Construction estimated that work on the complex would be completed by late 2021.
