A grand opening event was held yesterday for Oliva, a new development of townhomes in Duarte.

The project, developed by Brandywine Homes, consists of 25 single-family residences at 956 Huntington Drive.  The three-story structures offer a mix of three- and four-bedroom floor plans, ranging from 1,773 to 1,913 square feet.

Common features in the project include a barbeque area and picnic tables.

Sales prices start in the high $500,000s.

The property is located just north of the 210 Freeway and the Gold Line's Duarte Station.  New master plans for the City of Hope medical campus and the properties immediately north of the light rail stop could add new housing, offices, and retail to the city.
