Following nearly two years of construction, CenterCal Properties and Taki Sun have completed a landmark shopping center at 2nd Street and Pacific Coast Highway.

The 2nd & PCH complex, designed by Architects Orange, consists of more than 215,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space in an array of two-story buildings - anchored by a 45,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market.

Other offerings include retailers lululemon, Anthropologies, Warby Parker, and Urban Outfitters, as well as restaurants such as Shake Shack and Tocaya Organica.  Sephora, Chase Bank, and HSBC Bank are also tenants.

El Segundo-based CenterCal's previous work includes an attempted $300-million revamp of the Redondo Beach waterfront, which was eventually scuttled after residents of that city passed a ballot initiative in opposition to the project.

The 11-acre 2nd & PCH site, located adjacent to the Alamitos Bay Marina, was previously the site of the SeaPort Marina Hotel.
