Architectural plans posted by the Northwest San Pedro Neighborhood Council offer a first look at a mixed-use development planned a few blocks west of the L.A. Waterfront.

The project, which comes from a local real estate investment firm known as South Bay Developers, would replace a small commercial building and adjoining parking lot at 336-350 7th Street.  Plans call for a five-story edifice which would feature 32 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments atop 3,830 square feet of street-fronting retail and parking for 31 vehicles at-grade and on a subterranean level.

The contemporary low-rise structure is being designed by Torrance-based Breen Engineering, and would include a second-level courtyard and a rooftop deck.

Additional details regarding the project are unclear based on the documents.

The project would rise one block southwest of Holland Partner Group's 375-unit mixed-use building now under construction at the corner of 6th and Palos Verdes Streets.
