New single-family homes are coming to a sit just east of the 57 Freeway in San Dimas, according to a recent notice.

The project from local developer RC Homes, slated for a 3.27-acre site at 901 W. Covina Boulevard, calls for subdividing the property to permit the construction of 37 detached homes.

RC Homes is taking advantage of state density bonus incentives to permit greater density than the 20 units that would otherwise be allowed by zoning. In exchange, seven of the homes are to be reserved for low- and moderate-income households.

Plans call for a series of two-story dwellings, as well as the construction of landscaping and private roadways within the site.

Other recent RC Homes projects include townhomes at the Ponte Vista complex in San Pedro.
