377 apartments rise next to Brea Mall

Concrete and rebar are rising next to the Brea Mall in Orange County, where AMLI Residential is hard at work at its latest Southern California development.

AMLI Brea, a joint venture with mall owner Simon at 1650 Brea Mall, will consist of an eight-story, approximately 760,000-square-foot apartment complex featuring 377 residential units and parking.

AO is designing the contemporary mid-rise apartment complex, which is to include amenities such as a rooftop deck, a pool courtyard, a clubhouse and a fitness center.

KPRS is serving as the project's general contractor.

Completion of AMLI Brea is expected in 2029, according to a landing page on the AMLI website.

AMLI's other upcoming projects in the region include a proposed 975-unit apartment complex at the former Parsons headquarters campus in Pasadena.
