Seal Beach-based developer Olson Homes is the developer behind the proposed development at 7336 Painter Avenue, which is named Painter and Mar Vista for its cross streets. The site is being subdivided to permit the construction of 40 three-story townhomes as well as parking.

KTGY is designing Painter and Mar Vista, which is shown in plans as a collection of Spanish Colonial Revival style buildings arranged around shared driveways and walkways. Plans call for a mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes ranging from 1,262 to 1, 624 square feet in size.

The proposed project is located a few blocks to the west of a similar development from MW Investment Group which would bring 24 homes to a site along Comstock Avenue.
