Architectural plans posted by the Wilshire Center/Koreatown Neighborhood Council offer a first look Jamison Services' latest multifamily residential development.

In February, the prolific developer filed plans with the City of Los Angeles to replace two small residential buildings at 968-974 S. Fedora Street, with a six-story edifice containing 50 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and parking for 34 vehicles.  Requested entitlements include Transit Oriented Communities affordable housing incentives - including increases in density and floor area and a reduction in required parking - in exchange for pricing five apartments for extremely low-income households.

Designed by DFH Architects, the building would feature five levels of wood-frame construction atop a one-story concrete podium and a basement garage.  Proposed exterior finished would include cement plaster and wood panels.

The project would also feature a rooftop amenity deck, designed by SQLA.

A timeline for the project is not stated in the presentation materials.

Jamison Services has over a dozen under-construction or proposed developments throughout Koreatown, including ground-up and adaptive reuse projects.
