In Gardena, local developer G3 Urban is building out the wood-framing of Walnut Place, a new for-sale housing project on Rosecrans Avenue.
Located on a roughly 2.5-acre property on the south side of Rosecrans to the west of Van Ness Avenue, the project will consist of 52 townhomes, with three live/work units facing Rosecrans.
Walnut Place will include a mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom dwellings ranging between 1,369 and 2,012 square feet in size, according to a project website.
G3 Urban has already built two similar projects on nearby sites along the Rosecrans corridor - Gardena Place and Rosecrans Place - which feature a combined total of 153 townhomes. Elsewhere in Gardena, the company recently broke ground on 30 townhomes on Normandie Avenue.
