More housing is on the way to the master planned Ponte Vista development in San Pedro, according to an application submitted last month to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.
Meritage Homes, the applicant behind the new Cabrilla II project at 26900 S. Western Avenue, is seeking city approvals for the construction of 54 homes as well as parking for 121 vehicles.
Kevin L. Crook is designing the housing, which is depicted in plans as a collection of seven interconnected buildings, each standing three stories in height with parking located at the ground level. The townhomes would include three- and four-bedroom floor plans, ranging from approximately 1,700 to 1,800 square feet in size.
Ponte Vista, which spans 61 acres of land that once was the site of the San Pedro Naval Housing complex, is being incrementally delivered by multiple development firms.
The complex will feature more than 670 homes when its full buildout is completed.
