A new multifamily residential development is in the works for a property just south of Centinela Avenue in Inglewood, according to a representative of Focal Investment.

The project, called Noya Eucalpytus, will rise from a property at 925-931 N. Eucalyptus Avenue, replacing an existing 12-unit property. Plans call for the new construction of a four-story building featuring 75 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments above parking for 85 vehicles.

That total includes 60 apartments and 15 multifamily accessory dwelling units. Focal is utilizing density bonus incentives to permit the project, which would require the inclusion of five very low-income apartments and five moderate-income apartments.

Ware Malcomb is designing the contemporary low-rise building, which would include a resident lounge, a fitness center, courtyards, and a rooftop deck.

The project is currently in the permitting phase, and is on track to break ground in the second quarter of 2027.

Properties along Centinela, as well as several other commercial corridors, are to be rezoned to permit similar densities under a pending update to Inglewood’s general plan.
