North of the new LAX/Metro Transit Center in Westchester, construction is in progress for yet another affordable housing complex from HVN Development.

The project at 8911 Ramsgate Avenue, entitled using the Mayor's Executive Directive 1 and density bonus incentives, will consist of a five-story edifice featuring 77 one- and two-bedroom apartments without on-site parking.

The apartments will predominantly consist of units earmarked for low- and moderate-income renters, according to finding included with the project's entitlement application to the City of Los Angeles.

As with all HVN Development projects to date, Stockton Architects is designing the contemporary podium-type building, which will be clad in painted stucco.

HVN is developing more than one dozen affordable housing projects within the City of Los Angeles. The company's new Westchester development is rising down the street from a similar project under construction at 9033 Ramsgate Avenue.
