With a final concrete pour 637 feet above ground, vertical construction is now complete at Onni Group's 825 South Hill development according to JT Wimsatt.
The 50-story tower, named for its address at 825 S. Hill Street, will feature 516 rental apartments and 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space when it opens its doors next year.
The building, designed by Chris Dikeakos Architects, sits atop a five-level podium screened by residential units. Plans also call for an outdoor amenity deck atop the podium, flanked by elevated townhomes.
825 South Hill is Onni's largest Downtown Los Angeles tower to date, but it may soon be surpassed by other project's in the company's pipeline, which includes high-rise projects at 1000 S. Hill Street and the Times Mirror Square complex.
