The wood-frame of a new supportive housing development is beginning to take shape in Westlake.

The development, which comes from West Hollywood Community Housing Corp., is rising from single parcel at 252 S. Rampart Boulevard.  The slim six-story structure will provide 22 residential units for currently homeless households, as well as one manager's apartment.

KFA Architecture is designing the project, which will be capped by a rooftop amenity deck.

The podium-type building, which is being co-developed with Affordable Living for the Aging, is slated to open in 2020.
