In Lincoln Heights, construction is going vertical for a new affordable housing complex at 216 S. Avenue 24, per a social media post from Linc Housing Corp.
The project, which is also being developed by Women Organizing Resources, Knowledge & Services (W.O.R.K.S) and GTM Holdings, known as Grace Villas. The project is replacing a former city parking with 48 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments above a semi-subterranean parking garage with 50 vehicle stalls. The apartments will serve low-income families, transitional-aged youth, and residents with developmental disabilities earning between 30 and 60 percent of the area median income level.
KFA Architecture is designing the Spanish Colonial Revival-style building, which will stand six stories in height.

Supportive services are to be provided by East Los Angeles Regional Center and the Downtown Women's Center.
At the time of the project's groundbreaking in late 2025, completion was expected by the end of 2026.
