Another developer will try their hand at a hotel located just west of Downtown Los Angeles, according to a filing today with the Department of City Planning.
The latest project, slated for a 30,000-square-foot site at 2001 W. Olympic Boulevard, calls for razing a small commercial building and an abutting surface parking lot to make room for a six-story, 150-key hotel featuring nearly 7,000 square feet of ground-level retail space and three-level, partially subterranean parking garage.
City records list the project's developer as an entity known as Live DTLA, LLC.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts recently revealed plans to expand its Trademark Hotel collection to the Bricks, a proposed 200-key hotel planned four blocks west at the corner of Olympic and Union Avenue.
