An automobile repair shop in the Del Rey Arts District has bit the dust, clearing the way for yet another mixed-use development in the former in the former industrial zone.
The project site, located at 4061-4065 Glencoe Avenue, is slated for a five-story building that would feature 49 residential units above office or retail space and two levels of robotic underground parking.
The approximately one-acre site is located in a onetime warehouse district that has been gradually converted into residential uses since the year 2000.
Los Angeles-based California Landmark Group has developed many of the neighborhood's new residential buildings, most recently the R3 lofts on Redwood Avenue. The company has also proposed a larger mixed-use complex that would stretch between Glencoe and Del Rey Avenue.
