Jamison Services, one of Southern California's largest office landlords, is looking to continue its residential building spree in Koreatown.
Yesterday, the Los Angeles-based real estate firm filed plans with the City of Los Angeles to construct a new high-rise development at 3700 W. Wilshire Boulevard. According to a case filing from the Department of City Planning, the project would consist of a 36-story tower featuring 506 residential units and approximately 62,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.
The approximately 3.2-acre site, located between Serrano and Oxford Avenues, is currently home to Wilshire Park Place, a 317,000-square-foot office building which fronts its namesake boulevard with a large private lawn. It is unclear how the proposed development would affect the existing configuration of the property, although the two buildings would share a parking garage.
Additional details about the project are not available through city records at this time.
Jamison is also in the planning stages for similar high-rise towers on other sites along Wilshire Boulevard, including developments at near subway stations at Normandie and Vermont Avenues.
