Another vintage building on the Broadway corridor will be restored as modern commercial space.
Crews are now in the process of upgrading 731 S. Broadway, a four-story building that dates back to 1913. According to a permit filing with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety, the scope of work includes a makeover of the building's facade, as well as a new elevator, corridors, partion walls and restrooms.
731 Broadway is sandwiched between the Vail - a similar four-story building that was recently converted into apartments - and the discount retailer Ross.
A leasing page from LoopNet indicates the building offers 23,000 square feet of space between its four above-grade levels and its basement.
