Six months after Continental Partners announced an $8.4-million construction loan for a multifamily residential complex in Westlake, work is now underway for the project.
The six-story building, rising at 218-224 S. Occidental Boulevard, will feature 47 dwellings above an underground parking garage. It replaces two 1940s apartment buildings which comprised 16 units.
A timeline for the Occidental development has not been announced.
