In Sawtelle, framing is complete for a new multifamily residential development from RBM of California.

The project at 11250 La Grange Avenue, which replaced a cluster of single-family homes, consists of a five-story building that will feature 38 two- and three-bedroom apartments atop a two-level, 100-car subterranean parking garage.

In exchange for density bonus incentives permitting a larger structure than allowed by zoning rules, five of the apartments are to be set aside for rent by very low-income households.

DE Architects designed 11250 La Grange, which will include a rooftop amenity deck and other interior common spaces such as a gym.

RBM of CA, a subsidiary of the Japanese real estate investment firm Residence Building Management Co., is also wrapping up work on larger mixed-use building in Westwood, and has previously built several similar projects across the Los Angeles area. The company's next project is a mixed-use building along Pico Boulevard in Rancho Park.
