Local real estate firm RBM of CA has topped out on 8950 Pico Boulevard, a new residential-retail complex in the South Robertson neighborhood.

The project, located on a corner lot at Pico and Holt Avenue, will feature 36 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments - including three priced for very low income households - atop 1,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a dedicated parking garage.

Plans call for apartments ranging between 530 square feet and 1,078 square feet in size, each featuring private balconies and in-unit washer-dryer sets.  Common features will include a fitness center, a recreation room and a rooftop patio.

DE Architects of Santa Monica designed the podium-type building, which features a contemporary look and feel.
