A one-story commercial building in Panorama City is set to make way for a mixed-use apartment building, according to plans filed yesterday with the City of Los Angeles.

The project site, a single parcel at 8802 Van Nuys Boulevard, is slated for the construction of a five-story building which would feature 24 apartments with office space.  The proposed development is contingent on a determination of compliance with the Panorama City community design overlay.

A case filing with the Department of City Planning lists the project applicant as an entity called 8802 Van Nuys, LLC.

The proposed development is also connected to Van Nuys-based G.A. Engineering.
