A half-year after our last update, construction is nearing completion for a mixed-use apartment building in the Del Rey neighborhood

The project, located at 11608-11612 W. Culver Boulevard, consists of a five-story building featuring 47 apartments above 1,620 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and parking for 62 vehicles.

Four of the apartments will be set aside as deed-restricted very low-income housing, allowing for increased floor area and relief from transitional height and setback requirements.

A rendering depicts the building as a contemporary low-rise structure with amenity decks located at the podium and roof levels.

According to a leasing page on LoopNet, completion of the apartment complex is anticipated in 2021.

City records listed the project applicant as the entity 11612 Culver, LLC.

Construction is also underway for a similar housing and retail complex a short distance south at the intersection of Culver and Inglewood Boulevard.
