After ten months of construction, Greystar Real Estate Partners is now above ground at the Arts District's AMP Lofts.

Located near the intersection of 7th Street and Santa Fe Avenue, the project consists of a seven-story edifice that will feature 320 live/work apartments, 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and basement parking for up to 420 vehicles.

Other components of the mid-rise development will include a fitness center, a clubhouse, and an elevated courtyard. Shimoda Design Group is designing the AMP Lofts, with direction from Steinberg Hart.  The modern design will incorporate brickwork from the project's namesake - Amp automotive.

Greystar, which is building numerous rental communities across Southern California, is also behind plans for a similar development on Alameda Street.

The AMP Lofts wrap a three-story brick edifice and surface parking lot where a different property owner has filed plans to construct a hotel.
