A local real estate development firm has filed plans with the City of Los Angeles to construct a mixed-use assisted living facility in Encino.
The half-acre project site, located at 17017-17031 W. Ventura Boulevard, is currently improved with a series of small single-tenant commercial buildings. A case filing with the Planning Department describes the proposed development as consisting of a five-story building featuring 97 assisted living units and a two-story commercial health club. Plans also call for 460 parking spaces.
The project applicant is listed as a limited liability company known as 17017 Ventura. The company is an affiliate of TriStar Realty Group.
TriStar's past projects include a $50-million development known as the Ventana Medical Plaza, a 112,000-square-foot facility also located in Encino.
