Beverly Hills faces four new builder’s remedy lawsuits "A developer for two proposed builder’s remedy projects at 8800 Wilshire Blvd. and 8820 Wilshire Blvd. filed two lawsuits against the city of Beverly Hills, alleging that the city illegally denied the two projects. LA Metro doubles down on safety in $9.4B spending plan for Fiscal Year 2025-26 "Metro's Board of Directors Thursday approved a $9.4 billion spending plan for 2026 -- which represents a 2% increase or $180.9 million more compared to the $9.26 billion in the current year -- prioritizing more funding for public safety and boosting the frequency of transit services." 8850 Sunset-Viper Room Project Falls Into Foreclosure "8850 Sunset, the massive development recently approved by the city council is $69,346,044.27 million dollars in the hole. Foreclosure documents show the default was recorded on February 12th, 2025." (Wehoonline)
