A 1920s bungalow court in East Hollywood could be converted into single-family homes through the small lot subdivision ordinance, according to a new filing with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning.

The property, located at 4061-4069 W. Melrose Avenue, consists of single-story structures on a mid-block parcel between Madison and Virgil Avenues. Findings included with the entitlement submissions describes the existing improvements as nine single-family homes and a duplex.

No demolition or new construction is planned in conjunction with the application.

City records list the owner of the site as Melrose Ten, LLC.

The site is located a short walk from Vermont Avenue and Los Angeles City College. Another small lot subdivision is proposed nearby at 627 N. Juanita Avenue.
