In Koreatown, the wrapping is off at a new co-living apartment complex now taking shape at the intersection of 5th Street and Harvard Boulevard.
The project, which is being built by Los Angeles-based ELK Development, consists of a seven-story building that will feature 40 apartments rented out room-by-room as 86 micro-unit suites. Each dwelling will have access to common living spaces, a kitchenette, and a private bathroom.
Pasadena-based BFK Architecture + Planning, per city records. The near-finished product closely resembles a rendering released at the time of the project's groundbreaking.
Completion is expected this year.
ELK Development is developing additional multifamily housing projects in Koreatown and Hollywood.
