After two years of construction, Los Angeles-based development firm Frost/Chaddock is wrapping up work at the Qwil apartments in Larchmont.

The project, located at 525 N. Wilton Place, replaced nine-single-family homes with a five-story building containing 88 apartments above parking for 165 vehicles.  Plans also call for on-site amenities such as a swimming pool, a rooftop deck, and several courtyard spaces.

Reed Architectural Group designed the contemporary low-rise structure, which spans the west side of Wilton between Clinton Street and Maplewood Avenue.  A rendering depicts the building with a black and white exterior accented with red.

The building will offer a mix of one- and two-bedroom floor plans ranging between 768 and 1,368 square feet.  Rents for the property will start at $3,050 and run as high as $6,495 per month, according to a project website.

The apartments are expected to debut this summer.

Frost/Chaddock is developing a similar multifamily residential building in Toluca Lake.
