At its meeting next week, the South Valley Area Planning Commission will consider developer 13713 Oxnard, LLC's proposal to construct a multifamily residential complex in Valley Glen.

The project, located at 13713-13717 W. Oxnard Street, calls for the demolition of a small commercial building followed by the construction of a four-story, 16-unit condominium complex which would set aside one unit for very low-income households.  The proposed development would also provide parking for 22 vehicles and 18 bicycles.

An architectural rendering portrays a contemporary stucco building with cascading roof levels that descend towards Oxnard Street, creating private open space for residents.

The Planning Department's staff report recommends that the Commission approve the development.
