A small condominium complex could rise on a site street between Washington and Venice Boulevards, according to a staff report to the Culver City Planning Commission.

The property, located at the southeast corner of Tilden and Matteson Avenue, is currently improved with three single-family homes.  Plans call for clearing the approximately 9,000-square-foot site, making way for the construction of five townhome-style units.

DesignUniversal is designing the proposed development, which is depicted as a collection of contemporary low-rise structures clad with stucco, concrete, and wood siding.  Architectural plans show a mix of three-bedroom layouts, each of which would be capped by a rooftop deck.

City records list the project's developer as an entity managed by Lewis Futterman, who has previously worked with DesignUniversal on a proposed small lot subdivision in Mar Vista.
