In Long Beach, Jamboree Housing Corporation has commenced work on a new affordable housing complex just east of the A Line.

The 101, named for its address at 101 E. Pacific Coast Highway, will calls for the construction of a five-story building featuring 52 one- and two-bedroom apartments above parking for 20 vehicles, according to information included on a project website.

The building is portrayed in a rendering as a contemporary podium-type structure.

An October 2024 report to the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee indicates that the project will provide predominantly one-bedroom apartments catering to households earning at or below 30 percent of the area median income level, with monthly rents set at $303. The total cost of the project is $39.1 million, which is covered by state, local, and private sources.

Although much of Jamboree Housing's work occurs in Orange County, the developer is also active at several locations across the Los Angeles area, including on a Metro-adjacent property in Duarte.
