Eight months into construction, work at the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Anita May Rosenstein Campus has kicked into high gear, with a tower crane now soaring above the project site.
Located at Santa Monica Boulevard and McCadden Place in Hollywood, the approximately $40-million project will create supportive services and 135 units of affordable housing for seniors and homeless youth.
Architecture Leong Leong is designing the multi-building project, with direction from Santa Monica-based Killefer Flammang. Renderings show multiple low- and mid-rise buildings, situated along meandering pathways that connect the larger campus.
Completion is anticipated in 2019.
