Los Angeles-based Urban Offerings has announced the opening of new creative office space in Koreatown.

The project, located at 515 Shatto Place, repurposes the shell of a one-story edifice from the early 1960s and 18,000 square feet of rentable space.

The building's exterior has been adorned with a three-paneled mural by street artist Fin Dac. The piece, known as "Nabi Sonyeo," was covered in netting and mounted with over 90 hand-cut butterflies to create a simulation of butterflies fluttering in the breeze.  The artwork was completed over the course of two weeks.

The development, located two blocks from Wilshire/Vermont Station, is billed as the first creative office building in Koreatown.  The neighborhood is home to numerous mid-century office towers offering a more traditional product along Wilshire Boulevard.
