Culver Commons takes shape at Washington and Centinela

Nine months after commencing construction in earnest, concrete work and wood framing are taking shape for the Culver Commons project.

Located along the north side of the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Centinela Avenue, the completed project will include 13,000 square feet of restaurant space accompanied by parking for 145 vehicles. A project website indicates that Vox Kitchen, El Moro, Smog City Brewing Co., Rol, and Wanderlust Creamery have signed leases for the property.

AO is serving as architect of record for the project, a representative of Regency Centers indicated earlier this year.

The under-construction project is roughly half the size of what was originally envisioned for the site. Regency Centers, the project's developer, had initially sought to include a larger market hall space within the development, but officially cut that component of the project in 2024.

Completion of Culver Commons is expected in Spring 2027, according to a landing page on the Culver City website.
