Earlier this year, a cluster of small residential buildings in Palms met with the wrecking ball.  A filing with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety indicates that something tall could replace them.

The property, an approximately 10,000-square-foot site at 3812-3818 S. Dunn Drive, is located less than a block from Downtown Culver City.  According to Los Angeles city records, the currently vacant lot could see the construction of a 19-story building, seated atop three levels of underground parking.

Current zoning for the development site is R5P-1, which would allow for the construction of approximately 50 units on the property by-right.  Use of the transit-oriented communities incentives could allow up to 50 percent more units, in exchange for providing on-site affordable housing.

County records list Napa Industries, LLC as the property's owner.

An adjacent parking lot was recently developed as a multifamily residential complex by California Landmark Group.
