An under-construction hotel in Downtown Glendale is undergoing revisions, per a document released by the City's Planning Division.

The Hotel Indigo, which is being developed by VK Group at 515 N. Central Avenue, was approved in 2020 as a seven-story building featuring 142 guest rooms. The building is also to include amenities such as a pool deck, a fitness room, meeting rooms, and a 137-car underground garage.

According to a revised application submitted on August 13, VK Groups is now looking to increase the floor area of the building by approximately 3,201 square feet. That change would allow for the addition of 12 guest rooms, resulting in 174 in total.

The approved building, designed by AC Martin is portrayed in renderings with a U-shaped footprint wrapping around a street-fronting courtyard. The building's architecture was previously described as taking from the Chicago and Industrial Age styles. Plans call for exterior finishes including brick, stone, and metal.

The project site is located just south of a property at 601 N. Brand Boulevard where a two-tower, 858-unit apartment complex is proposed by Onni Group.

Other Hotel Indigo locations include a 350-key outpost at the Metropolis development in Downtown Los Angeles.
