Construction is underway for a new development of single-family homes at the border between West Hollywood and Los Angeles.
Fairfax at Sunset, which is being developed by Glendale-based RC Homes, is located on a property at 1352-1356 N. Fairfax Avenue - a block south of Sunset Boulevard. Plans call for eight for-sale residences, each of which would stand three stories in height with two-car garages and rooftop decks.
The fencing which wraps the project site is currently adorned with an 80-foot installation by the local street artist Morley that reads "It was amongst the rubble that I discovered the parts of me that are indestructible."
The new homes are located a block north of a five-story, 53-unit apartment complex which is currently being built by developer Palisades.
RC Homes' other recent projects include two small-lot developments in Silver Lake.
