The $225-million development, located at 6163 Centinela Avenue, is being developed by LPC West in association with Broad Street Principal Investments.  Approved plans call for the construction of an 11-story, 150-foot-tall structure featuring 280,000 square feet of office space atop ground-floor commercial uses and a 1,000-car garage.

The mid-rise structure, designed by Gensler, will feature a glass facade and numerous common balconies - highlighted by a 15,000-square-foot sky deck.  Other features will include a fitness center and a conference room.

At the time that it purchased the 3.7-acre project site in 2018, LPC West expected to completion construction in 2021.

The mixed-use structure is the latest in a string of large office developments in the Culver City and Playa Vista area.

Tishman Speyer has built more than 600,000 square feet of office space in a collection of low-rise structures just south of Jefferson Boulevard - portions of which are now leased by Loyola Marymount University and Facebook.

At the intersection of Jefferson and Lincoln Boulevard, Rockwood Capital is now building a 160,000-square-foot structure that will house the Los Angeles headquarters of footwear and apparel market Nike.

Multifamily housing is also under construction nearby.  Just north on Sepulveda Boulevard, Hanover Company and Sandstone Properties are now building more than 350 apartments in a pair of podium-type buildings

The Entrada is one of two office developments now under construction from LPC West.  The other, located at the intersection of Washington and National Boulevards, is slated to serve as the headquarters of computer marker Apple's new content division.
