Construction is underway for an 80,000-square-foot office complex in West Los Angeles, a short walk from Metro's Expo/Bundy Station.
The project, known as Expo Station, is rising on an approximately one-acre site at 12414 Exposition Boulevard. Plans call for three stories of offices, seated atop a two-level parking garage.
HLW International is designing the five-story structure, which will feature an angled roof line and a facade of concrete, wood and glass. Approximately 16,000 square feet of outdoor patios wrap around its upper floors, providing space for events. Its interior will offer 16-to-25-foot ceiling heights, operable windows, polished concrete floors and exposed window trusses.
The Luzzatto Company, which is developing Expo Station, ancitipates completion in the first quarter of 2019.
Essey Construction Company, Inc. is serving as the project's general contractor.
