A year and a half after we last dropped in, developer Oakmont Capital is approaching the finish line at a multifamily residential project in the Palms neighborhood.
The five-story building, located at 3833 Dunn Drive, will feature 40 one- and two-bedroom apartments above ground-floor and basement parking.
Uriu & Associates is designing the podium-type building, which will have a U-shaped form wrapping around a second-level courtyard.
The project sits directly across the street from the 3838, a larger multifamily building completed by California Landmark Group. Similar projects are also in the works for a vacant lot at 3812 Dunn Drive and an L-shaped property at 9900 Venice Boulevard.
In addition to 3833 Dunn Drive, Oakmont Capital is also planning three larger mixed-use projects at 3547, 3565, and 3664 Overland Avenue.
