Images provided by photographer Michael Hayes shows that construction is wrapping up for Onyx, a mixed-use development by Chandler Pratt & Partners in Downtown Glendale.

The project, located on Central Avenue between Myrtle Street and California Avenue, consists of a six-story building featuring 84 rental apartments above approximately 4,400 square feet of retail space and 167 parking spaces.  An official website advertises a mixture of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans, priced between $2,350 and $5,475 per month.

The apartments include modern kitchens, wood-plank flooring, walk-in closets and in-unit washer-dryer systems.  Residents will also have access to amenities such as a fitness center, sky decks and a resort-style pool.

Architecture firm KTGY designed the podium-type structure, which features a modern look with clean lines and a simple color palette.
