Urban Architecture Lab has unveiled renderings for 4850 Hollywood Boulevard, the proposed mixed-use development that would replace a strip mall adjacent to Barnsdall Park.
The project, which comes from La Terra Development, would consist of a six-story building featuring 101 residential units, 10,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and basement parking for 176 vehicles.
Renderings of the proposed development show a contemporary mid-rise building, featuring a U-shaped form that wraps around a podium-level amenity deck.
A timeline for proposed apartment complex has not been announced.
La Terra and Urban Architecture Lab are also behind plans for a similar development across the street at 4900 Hollywood Boulevard. The property has been entitled for the construction of 150 apartments and approximately 13,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
The developer's portfolio also includes large projects in Burbank and Rampart Village.
